We engineered our own broadcasting box so the pilot's view can land on a jumbotron, a projector, a monitor, or a web stream — with no cloud hop and no perceptible delay. It comes to indoor and outdoor shoots alike.

How it works

Four links, no internet in between

Most "live" drone streams route through a cloud encoder and arrive several seconds late. Ours doesn't leave the venue.

    Drone

    The onboard camera transmits a digital analog-latency feed on a dedicated 5.8 GHz link — separate from any venue Wi-Fi.

  2. 02

    Ground receiver

    A diversity receiver on site locks the signal and hands off clean video, with redundant antennas covering the flight envelope.

  3. 03

    The box

    Our Raspberry Pi 4 build decodes and frames the feed — the only processing step, and it happens locally.

  4. 04

    Your screen

    Straight out over HDMI to whatever you're running — or pushed to RTMP if the audience isn't in the room.

The same box works behind the 150g indoor drone and the outdoor platform. What changes is who's watching.
